Book Burro is easily the most useful Firefox extension I have found. People who do a lot of HTML hacking might bestow that honor on Web Developer. I don't, so Book Burro gets my vote.

Oh, and AdBlock, but that's not simply useful. It's necessary.

Book Burro looks nice, but c'mon -- Adblock is necessary? Necessary to prevent independent journalists from earning a living, or what?

Argh, AJAX gone bad. The comment form posts with no visual indicator of progress, and now I have three.

Necessary to make it possible to read web pages without risking a seizure. It doesn't block text ads.


I'm not opposed to viewing advertising in general. I'm just opposed to looking at annoying, unavoidable useless ads.
